Charlotte, Shelley and Alexandra work at Karen Walker, where the Spring/Summer collection is now in store. Inspired by an imaginary place in America where European tradition reigns, it's a story you can't help but want to be part of. It's always interesting to see how she translates what was initially a concept for the Northern Hemisphere, into a collection for the opposite season. We may miss out on the shearling jacket, but the peach and rust stripes, blue prints and neutral separates more than make up for it.
Karen Walker knows how to make a collection cohesive, special and fun. She successfully combines perfect measures of elegance and whimsy to create garments that can be worn effortlessly. This summer is no exception; the jacquard suiting is a sight to behold, with clean lines and luxurious fabric. Not to mention her neutral ruffled dresses, which will make you want to frolic in the spring air and be a lady all at once.
